On Saturday, February 9, ALLY People Solutions program Participant Angie Deibel will participant in a Polar Plunge fundraiser for Special Olympics at Carver Lake Beach in Woodbury, MN. This will be Angie’s fifth year doing the plunge. She will be participating with members from her Maplewood Monarchs team.
Angie participates in softball with Special Olympics and is excited to plunge for her fellow athletes and help a good cause. She’s raised $272 so far and hopes to raise more before the plunge.
Angie encourages anyone to participant in a Polar Plunge. “It’s a good cause, it’s fun. You’ll be scared at first, but then you’ll want to do it every year,” she says.
